The wordmark features a clean, sans serif font with carefully spaced kerning, providing breathing room and effectively filling the space on various deliverables. This design choice fosters white space, allowing the audience to easily absorb the information presented.
The brand’s signature stripes form two ‘E’s, symbolising ‘East’ and ‘Eight.’ This clever use of negative space creates an abstract symbol that can stand alone or complement the wordmark, making it a recognisable brand element. The strong pattern not only reinforces the brand identity but also adapts well across different sizes and mediums.
To balance the brand mark’s boldness, we opted for a minimalist black and white colour palette. Our goal is for East Eight to claim these colours as their own in the real estate sector, so that a fleeting glimpse of the black and white pattern immediately conveys the East Eight identity.
